Annalee Skarin Book ExcerptsYE ARE GODS, Chapter XXVI, THE SEALThere is an ancient record as old as the earth itself; at least it is as old as the Great Pyramid of Egypt, which reveals the principle of faith without ever profaning the word as we have done, for it never even mentions the word “faith”. It uses instead the word “matter” and reads as follows: “O my son, matter becomes; formerly it was, for matter is the vehicle of becoming. Becoming is the mode of activity of the uncreate and foreseeing God. Having been endowed with the germ of becoming” (through desire, thought or deep hope) “matter” is brought into BIRTH, for the creative force (of thought) fashions it according to the ideal forms. Matter not yet engendered has no form; it becomes when it is put into operation” – by the mind of man. TO GOD THE GLORY, Chapter XIX, THE WILL OF GOD When you have learned obedience by the things you have suffered then there is no more need for suffering. Yea, when you can love the suffering, for my sake, then will the suffering flee from you. TEMPLE OF GOD, Chapter VII, THE POWER THE BRAIN IS A PHYSICAL ORGAN in a mortal body. It is sensitive and intricate and wonderfully made, yet it is physical and will die when the body dies. It is the mind contained within the brain that is the greatest mystery. The mind will never die It is not physical. It is spiritual. It is fluid and can reach out to the very farthest star. It can center itself in an atom and examine its component parts. It can explore the inside workings of the human body and the brain. It can reach out to explore the very universe. To the mind there is neither time nor space. It is above both time and space and is hampered by neither. It can return in an instant into the past and relive an experience of childhood. It can re-visit places of the long ago. It can enter the courtrooms and palaces of foreign lands or stand upon the shores of far-off seas. It is unrestricted in the scope of its wanderings and its searchings. The mind can kneel before the throne of God in humble adoration. It can travel the highway of the stars. It is the mind of man and the powers contained within it that one must begin to comprehend as he enters the temple of his soul. It is the mind that must be sent into those innermost recesses of one’s being and open up the doors to the Light of Christ. SECRETS OF ETERNITY, Chapter IV, THE HOUSE OF YOUR ENEMIES Let me take your hand and we will go together into the house of your enemies. It is a very simple thing to do, for there is neither time nor space to the eternal scope of the mind. This will be a spiritual visit and will be accomplished through the divine thinking processes of your own mind. If your hurts were in the misty past and your enemies have long since gone from the sphere of action the healing is still as necessary , and it is possible. It will be even more welcome because those who are not encumbered with flesh will receive your overtures more readily and with greater joy. Their very progress may have been retarded by your memories of hurts and injuries, and it is possible that only you can release them into the realms where they can be healed of their mistakes. Step into the past and pour out your forgiving love to enfold them in its healing glory. Let my hand enfold yours as we humbly kneel together, and with bowed heads give this prayer: “God, our Almighty, Loving Father, in the Name of Thy Most Holy Son, the Prince of Peace, we kneel here to ask for Thy healing love to enfold us and this house and those who dwell herein. Let the divine Christ Light be brought forth in Its great power of redemption to fill this dwelling and all who may abide here. Let their hearts be softened and their seals be removed. May they be purified by His Love. May their minds be enlightened by an understanding of His great redeeming glory as their blindness is tenderly healed. Let the full power of Christ’s divine Light, which is given to abide in them, be permitted to come forth that all seals might be dissolved and all darkness and ignorance be banished. “God, our Father, let this great Christ Light be made manifest in us – and in all They children. Let it be brought forth at this time to fill the hearts and minds and lives of all, especially these for whom we kneel at this time to pray. Let all errors be blotted out forever. Let all mistakes be forgiven and let their healing come. “Let Thy forgiving love enfold them, even as I desire at this time to be enfolded in Thy great forgiving love. Let me also be healed and filled with Thy holy light and love, even as I ask that these, whom I have considered my enemies, might be healed. “Father, as we kneel here together to fulfill Thy divine law of praying for our enemies, we thank You for this holy, divine privilege. Let only our love for You remain, for we love You, dear Lord, with all our hearts and soul! Our minds are filled with this love for Thee as we send it forth with all our strength. And, dear God, please increase our strength to send it out that it might go forth to enfold and heal a world. “So be it! In the Name of Thy Beloved Son, Jesus Christ – Amen!” CELESTIAL SONG OF CREATION, Chapter XVI, THE POWER OF GOD IN ACTION Rejoice evermore! Rejoice as you clothe yourself in Light Eternal! Even the Life more abundant! Every note of ecstasy, every glimmer of hope, every thought of joy, every song of praise and gratitude are the powers of His Light being released from within your own being. As you keep that song of gratitude and thanks vibrating forth from within you will become glorious. This is the law. It cannot fail. The darkness can be overcome by that vibrating song of thanksgiving originating in your own mind and heart as you send it forth on the wings of your loving appreciation. You hold the key! And you are the door! And yours is the power of the fulfillment of every divine promise ever given unto the children of men. Begin consciously to express Life in joyous gratitude for every gift and blessing, no matter how seemingly insignificant, and Life will flow to you in ever increasing abundance until “you overcome the evils of your life and lose every desire for sin and are wrapped in the power and glory of your Maker and are caught up to dwell with Him.” BEYOND MORTAL BOUNDARIES, Chapter XXIII, THE MATURITY OF THE SOUL There is nothing in all the scriptures to verify the erroneous belief that man is God. “They were called Gods, unto whom the WORD OF GOD CAME.” This scripture does not say that they WERE GOD. However, there is the record which states: “As man is God once was, and as God is man may become.” Which is no more than saying that the infant in its crib can become a man even as his father is a man. It does not state that the infant will become his father. “Man and his wife are one,” This assuredly does not state that they blend into a bunglesome, uncoordinated, awkward single being. It does not mean that either or both give up their status as individuals or lose their own identity. Isa. 14:12-15: “HOW ART THOU FALLEN FROM HEAVEN, O LUCIFER, SON OF THE MORNING! HOW ART THOU CUT DOWN TO THE GROUND, WHICH DIDST WEAKEN THE NATIONS! “FOR THOU HAST SAID IN THINE HEART, I WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN, I WILL EXALT MY THRONE ABOVE THE STARS OF GOD: I WILL SIT ALSO UPON THE MOUNT OF THE CONGREGATION, IN THE SIDES OF THE NORTH: “I WILL ASCEND ABOVE THE HEIGHTS OF THE CLOUDS: I WILL BE LIKE THE MOST HIGH! “Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” Christ often bore witness of the Father within. He was speaking of “the Great God who standeth in the congregation of the Mighty who judgeth among the Gods.” He was speaking of the God of Whom it is said, “For in Him we live and move and have our being.” But remember this, before the infant is born or matured enough to be born into this world it lives and moves and has its being in the mother. But that does not make it the mother. So it is that man, seeking to fulfill his spiritual development, lives and moves and literally has his being in his Holy completeness and essence and love which is the reality of the God who does sit in the congregation of the mighty and who judges among the Gods – for there are Lords many and there are Gods many. And this earth is the school for Gods for all those who take advantage of the opportunity so exquisitely divine. THE BOOK OF BOOKS, Chapter VIII LIFE! LIFE MORE ABUNDANT! Christ never once spoke of death nor sought to prepare man to accept it. Christ spoke always of LIFE! “LIFE MORE ABUNDANT!” Or LIFE ETERNAL, in which a man need never die! (And a few pages later in the same chapter) Love is a vibration of infinite power. Love is a force that surmounts all obstacles. Love removes all negation. Love casts out all fear. Love is energy in its highest, purest, spiritual essence of renewing, invigorating, exalted, healing power. Pure love is completely freed from selfishness or self-seeking. “It seeketh not its own. “ Love flows ever outward, from those who possess it, in a giving glory of benediction. Love is the spirit of sharing. Love never turns inward to hold, to clutch, to grab or to seek for credits and rewards. Love is never self-indulgent. It never demands. It is not possessive. Love gives! Love blesses! Love sacrifices as it rejoices in the great privilege of sacrificing. This LOVE is divine and it is the bridge across the chasm or gulf between mortality and that realm of immortality. And “through it one changes his carnal flesh to flesh divine without descending through the gates of death.” Chapter X, THE EVERLASTING POWER OF LOVE All the hosts of heaven are anxiously awaiting your coming forth as your are released or freed from all mortal restrictions and foul weaknesses and failings. This is the great TRUTH, which one can only KNOW BY EXPERIENCING IT. “Know THE Truth and the Truth will make you free,” from all the sorrows of the flesh!” “And he who is free shall be free indeed!” Such is the Promise! In order to make the foregoing just a little more comprehensible I am instructed to include the following information: The commandment to LOVE GOD with all the mind must be fully considered as the first step toward divine achievement. Chapter XVIII, THE PRIMAL SUBSTANCE OF ALL EXISTING THINGS I need Your help, Almighty Father, to make it manifest that “THOUGHTS ARE THINGS!” Thought are the seeds, the very life force which must be used to lay hold upon this divine, ethereal substance of creation as HOPES themselves are fashioned into tangible form out of the purity of primal matter. Chapter XVIII, THE COSMIC POWER OF LIGHT GENERATED BY FAITH The first command and law of creation is: “LET THERE BE LIGHT!” Light is the primal substance of all existing things. All things are formed of the element of Light and from it. And Light is generated and put into action by the power of FAITH, which contains the energy of creating or brining forth into form. FAITH and Light are always united in form and substance in the potency of their energized creating. They belong together. They are one. Where there is no Light FAITH cannot exist. And when there is no Faith LIGHT cannot manifest. Chapter XXIII, ALL THAT THE FATHER HAS IS YOURS Next, the privilege to prove one’s FAITH or ability to use this primal substance of creation comes in the suggestion of praise as one gives thanks continually for his own hope or desire. This thanksgiving releases the power to believe within the heart of man. And this brings forth his request more speedily and more perfectly than any other method in existence. This very attitude of praising and the vibrations of gratitude opens up those higher realms of light, and thus the very Light itself becomes subject unto the individual. This light, which can become subject unto man is his forever as he learns to cast out the darkness of his own thinking and feeling habits. The released praise and thanks for the things one desires clothes the desire in form and helps to bring forth the true spiritual essence as the request is held to “WITHOUT WAVERING or DOUBTING.” And in this manner do they take form in the tangible world. Chapter, IIIV, THE DAY THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE EARTH WERE LAID “For WHOM HE DIID FOREKNOW, HE ALSO DID FOREORDAIN TO BE CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE OF HIS SON, THAT HE MIGHT BE THE FIRSTBORN AMONG MANY BRETHREN. “Moreover WHOM HE DID FOREORDAIN, THEM he also called and whom he called, them he also justified; and whom he justified them he also glorified.” With only these few reference mentioned I must go on because there is not time or space here to make a longer discourse upon this great, eternal wonder of our preexistence, for we too existed before the world was. This is not reincarnation. This is a statement of eternal fact and a brief reminder of our primeval, spiritual existence before the world was formed. (And later in the same chapter) And as those PROMISES, SENT OUT ON THE WINGS OF LIGHT, CAME ECHOING BACK TO US WE EACH RECEIVED AN INDIVIDUAL PORTION, or a special anointing according to that for which we had prepared ourselves. To those who were most worthy the greater were the Promises vouchsafed unto them and the responsibility for their fulfilling for: TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN MUCH IS REQUIRED.” (At the end of the same chapter) At the close of the work I pray that the writer and the writings be forgotten – that the words of expression will be dissolved and disappear and only the revealed TRUTHS stand forth with the great power of almighty God alone supporting them. Let the glory of these indestructible realities, these eternal principles of PROMISE never again be “hid up” and forgotten. Let TRUTH alone stand forth in all its dynamic power of witnessing.
